International College of Dentists PH Section donates VCO to UP Diliman Isolation facility

International College of Dentists Philippine Section Inc. President Dr. Vicky Pangilinan, turned over Cocolicious VCO boxes to the Molave Community Isolation Facility in UP Diliman Campus, Diliman, Quezon City. The community isolation facility is headed by Dr Jesusa Catabui, MD.

Virgin Coconut Oil was proven to be effective against mild covid-19 cases in a clinical trial done by the DOST-FNRI last December 2020. VCO trials for severe cases is currently  ongoing in the Philippine General Hospital.

The ICD group's donation to the community isolation faciltiy is in response to the the IATF and VCOP's initiative to provide VCO as supplemental treatment for mild covid cases in level 1 hospitals and isolation faciltiies in NCR with the goal of preventing mild cases from progressing to severe ones. VCOP is the industry association of VCO producers and traders.
